Naval Aviator Officer
Carlos Reyes, bilingual professional, has a diverse experience in aquatic training. He is a graduate of the Peruvian Naval Academy. The Center for Technical Naval Instruction (CITEN) appointed Carlos as its training officer for Fitness and Aquatic training. He also completed a rigorous Ocean Survival training as a Peruvian Aviator Officer.
After moving to Florida, Carlos worked full-time as an ocean rescue lifeguard for the City of Deerfield Beach. He began his career in the Fire Service in January 1991. Carlos worked as a paramedic, firefighter, and member of the Water Rescue Diving Team for the City of Boynton Beach for the next 25 years.
Since his retirement in 2016, Carlos has continued to work part-time as an ocean rescue lifeguard for the city of Deerfield Beach, where he currently resides. Carlos has also worked for the last 11 years as a Fire and Water Rescue Instructor for the Fire Department of Punta Cana International Airport in the Dominican Republic.

Water Rescue EMS, LLC was founded in January 2020 to provide your organization with the highest quality Water Rescue training, as well as training related to the fire and emergency medical services. We provide training for start-up Water Rescue Teams from the Awareness, to the Operational level. We meet and exceed the NFPA 1670 Standards for Fire Departments or other public/private agencies. Customized aquatic training is available for any sized agency at a national or international location. Our Lifeguard Training Program meets the standards of the United States Lifeguard Association (USLA) and Red Cross.
